You know what you’re offering is the best, but how do you convince your target audience of that?
Marketing only works if it is done correctly, and successfully communicating the benefits of your product or service is paramount. How do you do it, you might ask? We won’t give away all our secrets, but here are some tips for communicating the benefits of your products and services.
- Get their attention. We are bombarded with so many ads every day, all competing for our attention. People are drawn to ads that they can identify with and meets a want or a need. Take the extra time to research your members or customers (present and future) so you can properly appeal to them. To grab their attention, clearly identify a benefit associated with your product and relate to your customer on a personal and emotional level. And make the design attractive.
- Solve a problem. If your product or service can solve a specific problem and you properly communicate that to the right person, you are in.
- Keep it clear. Once you’ve identified the problem, make sure your message is clear in how you can solve it. Instead of saying that you offer a lower interest rate, explain what that means in terms of their monthly payment. Do not put too much information in one ad or you’ll overwhelm them.
- Testimonials build credibility. People believe what they say and allow them to affect their purchasing decisions. Ask for reviews from those that have had a great experience.
